Manchester United's injury crisis is showing no signs of easing after Harry Maguire was forced off during the FA Cup fifth round defeat to Fulham.

Maguire came off before extra time on Sunday and United head coach Ruben Amorim confirmed the centre back would be monitored before the squad flies to San Sebastian for their Europa League round-of-16 first leg against Real Sociedad on Thursday.

"We'll see," Amorim said. "I have to see how is 'H' - Harry Maguire. We will see. It's a tough moment in that aspect. It will be a competitive team on Thursday."

United have been without Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez, Toby Collyer, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount and Amad for the past three games.

Martinez (anterior cruciate ligament) and Amad (ankle) have been ruled out for the remainder of the season, Evans, Shaw and Mount have not played since December and Mainoo is due to return after the March internationals.

Patrick Dorgu served the first of a three-match domestic suspension against Fulham but is available for the Europa League tie.

However, teenage striker Chido Obi is ineligible for United's European campaign after the club failed to register him in their revised Europa League squad list that was submitted last month.

United added winter transfer window signings Dorgu and Ayden Heaven but did not include Obi, who had not trained with the first team at that stage.

Obi, 17, is not eligible for the B list as he would have had to have been at United for two consecutive years and he joined the club from Arsenal in the summer.

Obi has played three times for United since they updated their Europa League squad and fellow striker Rasmus Hojlund has not scored in 18 games.

Hojlund was replaced by Obi for the second weekend running against Fulham.
